TABLATURE

Each of the lines represents a string. If a zero (0) is on the line then this tells you that the note is an open string. ie: if the zero is on the top line E then this is open string one.

If a number is on the string then this tells you that the note is on that fret. ie: if the number 2 is on the third line, this tells you that the note is on the second fret string three. The G String.
